Info about Deleon, Texas
Deleon is privately owned land "4-B Farm" that has a couple runs a year sponsored by Gerald and Nina Fronk and Benny and Janna Morris. Dry camping on site, 11 miles outside of town is part of your weekend fee. Local families prepare the food to benefit the church camp. Breakfast and dinner are prepared on site for a donation, but for lunch you're on your own. Typically it's an invitation only event, but emailing The Fronk's at ngfronk@cctc.net you can inquire about runs and availability.
The trails in De Leon can be deceiving. Although the hills are not real tall, they are tough. From moderate to extreme it's there and the trail bosses are great on these runs. If you like short intense climbs, De Leon is for you!
